These minutes show that the Recording Secretary does not keep accurate minutes. It also shows the need for all minutes to be posted for members to review and make corrections prior to being put into the record.
The President and First Vice President had a lengthy and somewhat heated discussion about purchasing new equipment and the possibility of getting a new trap machine based upon how much the repairs would cost. The first V.P. noted how the possibility of purchasing a new trap machine was getting discussed far more than any purchase of a piece of equipment ever does and that a new trap machine is a direct benefit to the club members. The only part of the entire conversation that made it into the minutes was the First V.P.’s sarcastic remark about voting to buy the skid steer if the President voted to buy a trap machine.
No mention of golf carts.
